1. Motion to approve minutes from last meeting, Unanimous approval
2. Discussion of issues related to bylaws:
A) 1. Article V, Section 6 - Marc suggests removal. Should we have a standard form for proxy? Tom Leovic suggests changing the wording of "requirement" to "may be delivered in writing" Marc will follow up and work on verbage for next meeting.
2. Article V, Section 10 and Article IV, Section 3. Rich Morgan moves to strike these from bylaws. Voted on, motion unanimously approved.
B) Background Checks - Should we make clubs certify their own coaches? What level of checks should be required? Chris Buechner (CBI, Mtn. Lacrosse) Talked about a free registry to check for Sexual Offenders at the very minimum, you can pay upwards of $15.00 for full check. He has this set up for his club, and feels the responsibility should be put on the clubs. Motion to certify head and assistant coaches must have some level of a background check ( minimum, certify the coaches are NOT ON SEXUAL OFFENDER REGISTRY IN COLORADO ) Chris Buechner 2nds. Voted on, unanimously approved.
C) Fields -CGLA secretary will send a reminder to all delegates to check for availability. Question regarding getting money back to team if official doesn't show, likewise teams should pay if officials show and there are no teams? Is there flexibility to add a few more fields if we have #'s for officials? Ft. Collins and Boulder stated they would like a few more home games. Kim Wallace will take a look at anticipated # of officials returning from last year to get an idea of #'s.
D) Quickscorers.com vs. MyLacrosseleague? Quickscorers is cheaper. Rich will look into this. Does this program allow for scheduling and directions? Rich will look into as well.
There were breakout groups regarding the need to change or delete some of the existing rules being followed by USLacrosse youth rules.
3. Lady Lax Classic will be May 23 rd and 24 th , 2009 @ Cornerstone Park . This will be a competitive tournament, possibly adding JV/Varsity if there are numbers and interest. Tom Leovic is putting this together as a 1 st annual event.
4. Kate has put together a community service document, and will be posting on CGLAX website.

- Hall of Fame, evening of 1-24-09
- Free Clinic @ Alexander Dawson, 2-21-09 and 2-28-09 @ All City Stadium
